Short Description

White Dhokla, also known as Idada, is a soft, light, and fluffy Gujarati snack premix. It is perfect for breakfast, evening snacks, kids' tiffin, or family snacking.

You Need

Ingredient Quantity
White Dhokla Premix 1 full packet
Water 300 ml
Green chilli paste ½ tsp
Black pepper / Red chilli powder As required for sprinkling
Oil for greasing tray As required

Making Process

  1. Empty the full packet into a bowl.
  2. Add 300 ml water and mix well.
  3. Add ½ tsp green chilli paste.
  4. Stir properly and make sure there are no lumps.
  5. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Grease a steamer tray and pour the batter into it.
  7. Sprinkle black pepper or red chilli powder on top.
  8. Steam for 10 minutes until the dhokla becomes soft and spongy.
  9. Cut into pieces and serve fresh.
